Offline tools
The Off-line menu of an open wallet has a set of tools that protect your private information with the same keys that protect your bitcoin. They work on your computer and need no connection and no login.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Encrypted Notes | Keep any number of private notes: personal information, instructions, anything sensitive. |
| Encrypted Files | Store files encrypted inside your wallet and get them back when you need them. |
| Encrypted Passwords | A password manager: logins, passwords, authenticator codes, notes and tags. |
| HSM | Turn the wallet into a signing service for your own programs. |
| Authenticators | Keep a backup of your two-factor (2FA) authenticators, and get the codes without your phone. |
| Create QRCodes | Make a QR code from any text. |
| Split a secret | Cut a secret into several parts and put it back together. |
To open a tool, open your wallet, click Off-line in the menu on the left, and choose it.
